How often do you grind?

Oh, ok. I never drove truck with automatic transmission, but I did and still drive best small car transmissions: DSG on VW, and now CVT on Audi.
From what I heared about volvo's iShift and current Fuller's UltraShiftPlus those are great products.

 

I've got rubber gears

 

I grind every day all day I guess thats why im called a gear jammer.

 

Dislike and Hate what the difference one telling like it is the other is just being nice about it

 

The only time I grind is when I forget the JAKE IS ON.....

 

Saw this thread and thought it was about something else..Sorry.

 

I pull tankers and when you are loaded starting from a stop your load is sloshing front to back which its sometimes pulling you back and sometimes pushing you forward. Its very easy to grind, especially in low range. And I drive 10 sp Eaton's and 13 sp maxitourques different shift patterns different days doesn't help lol

I know right!

It's that 'aw crap' feeling when making that first shift. Always happens to me when rolling through the up and down hills in Southern Oregon on I-5.

 

I never grind. Makes me look bad.

 

I grind every morning. Gotsta have me cuppa Joe straight outta bed.
