sapamil, what exactly is a recap?

 

its where you have used your allotted 70 hrs and your running the hours you get back that you ran last week basically the hrs I ran last Monday I have available to run tomorrow

 

Excuse my ignorance but I'm still not getting what you mean. Is this the same as a restart, when you use up your 70? Thanks....

no, every 9th day you gain back the hours you were on duty on your 1st day

The rule is 70 hrs in 8 days. On the 8th day, you count your hours to make sure that you haven't gone over 70. After that, starting with the 8th day, you count back 7 days. That 8th day counting back, you cross out. You should now have 7 days to add up. Add those hours and you'll know what you have for the next day. After the next day is over..... repeat the above. Thats recapping.

 

He failed to mention that he is a trainer, with miles hung over from last week. With a California load on....
