And here I thought I just sucked during school. Was wondering if the instructor was deaf or daydreaming, with the near 0 reaction. I grind mostly on the downshifts still. It's less frequent, but when I do, it takes a nice toll on the arm.

If down shifting feather the throttle(Raise the RPM's) and slide it in, Good Luck.

I like the one that says Grinding makes me look bad, Like anyone is listening to see if you are grinding the gears!

Will start giving it a shot. My problem gear in those training trucks always seemed to be 7th to 5th.

Reduce speed with left foot on brake at least 5 to 8 mph and at the same time give alittle gas so ur rpm picks up to 14 to 16 and it will slide rite in but slow ur truck down the hill dude don't just give it throtle and try to gear it in you will continously pick up speed if u don't do what I just told you.

It's funny no, that my rationale for stopping the grind, is cause after a few times, it starts hurting my shoulder?
