We run a lane from Mi to Amherst,Nh, depending on where he lives in MA it could be a good fit.

I didn't say that either. You did. Who you drive for doesn't conclude whether or not you're a good driver. Your MVR, CSA, and DAC reports do. Stop posting off opinions as fact. That's very annoying.

i would definitely choose better pay & reliability over flash n pizazz. Cruise, AC and reliability is all I care about. The way I see it, the extra chrome, paint, graphics just means someone else is getting the extra caysh !

We are not the post office but we have some very good reliable, safe, curtious drivers that I would consider "really good ones" and I am sure there are many great drivers driving for companies other than the post office. I am curious, Do you drive for the POST OFFICE MNdriver?

I do. That reply was meant as a personal attack towards me.

I see, i did not mean for this thread to start any confertation. I simply am looking for opinions on what attracts drivers.

I know you didn't, but what some drivers need to realize is that it boils down to personal opinion, and no opinion is greater than another. What some drivers regard as trash others will regard as treasure. If you want the veterans, you should adhere to individual needs as much as you feasibly can. Some veterans want more home time while others may not. Some may want the flashy trucks while others may not. Some may want to work under a 1099 while others prefer to work under a W-4. Some like freightshakers while others like pete's. Some like brand new equipment and others won't care as long as it runs. So forth and so on.

Don't listen to the "O/O's or IC's are better than everyone else" garbage. What matters is what your DAC, MVR, and CSA reports say. I have seen O/O's and IC's that are dangerous drivers, and are O/O's because no one will hire them.

In the same situation except run newer equipment , majority of our drivers have been here long term , few left then came back.

Lately new hirers ( expanding ) have been more BOTHER than they were worth , and are not happy with anything.
