guys whats the right thing to do when you go into violation ? like i had no choice honestly. omg
-
First you shouldn't let yourself get into a situation where you are in violation. When you do go into violation you should shut down at the first safe parking and take a break till you are no longer in violation.

Man I hope this works out for you guys. Let us know what happens -
As far as I know, they're always required. But if you're local, you can't get to a terminal to attend one, unless you work out of a terminal. So i don't have to go. Still have to watch the videos though.Arkansas Frost Thanks this.

We've always kind of been part of the swift family anyway. From everyone I've talked to it should be business as usual for us as we will be run as a separate division of the company. Central has worked to build there own brand, a profitable one too... You just don't throw that all down the tubes in an instant.

That's why Raul trailers are so beat up. Also, the Rail doesn't care if they scratch or dent a trailer unless it's a scratch or sent that rips open the side and goes at least a couple inches deep. And I'd they do damage a trailer, they won't fix it. They expect the company to file a claim and get it fixed, and then discuss reimbursement.
Can you tell I've been at the Rail a few times lately? -
Hi Guys, I haven't been around for a bit. I heard about Swift buying Central. Have they discussed how things may change?
As for me I am not really enjoying the dispatch thing, but am enjoying being home. The TM position was a carrot, although the old TM who they said I would be replacing decided to go back to driving, and guess who his Fleet manager will be. Yup you guessed it, good old Moose. He starts on Monday, I hope it goes well.
To everyone here I hope all is going well. I am trying to make up my mind if I am coming back or not. I talked to a recruiter last week and was told I have until Sept 4th to come back with out needing to go out with a trainer. That would be fun. Maybe Ice train can train me.Ice Train, Treputt, Lady K and 1 other person Thank this. -
We pay $25 for the safety meeting and they are not mandatory. OK recruiting hat off.
Oh yah the one thing I do like about my job is I get to do new driver orientation. So you all remember when the different people came in from the different departments. That's me now! -
Sorry to hear they pulled the bait and switch on you. They can't be serious that you would have to go out with a trainer. I guess it makes sense since then they can pay you peanuts for the time you are a trainee. The question will be who is training who. Have you looked at any of the companies out of Spokane hauling reefers? Good luck to you.
