Anybody curious about Bates Tech(http://www.bates.ctc.edu/truckdriving), and there are a lot of ways the FAFSA works, as I am learning... It is on the west side of the mntns, though. They cover everything you can imagine, and it's not real cheap(5-6K?). I believe it's 2 qtrs/5 months. I am hoping to start there sept 13th. Read the fine print on those school over there.....you have pre-approved applications the schools submit to companies needing acceptance prior to starting school and what does that tell you? Yeah, having 5-6K to toss out there will get you in most private schools and I am not at all dishing them! Most are good and professional I am sure.......and will help with jobs forever, or whatever. Myself, I am for the one that I feel will give me the best options(+ the FAFSA, lol) when complete and hopefully better opportunities.
Geez, and I am old at 50?

Great luck to you and I hope you find what works for you!!

    peace
