Your current drivers are our best recruiting tool. Offer them a bounty or perc for each driver who stays over 90 days. In fact, let a team of drivers do the first interview...this helps morale and screening.

I had some bumper stickers made. "If you have it, I just left your place". Passed them out to real drivers.

It's been my experience that "fair pay"= crap paycheck. Just sayin'.

Not always...most drivers just want to be paid for what they do....if you run a driver on a 100 mile trip then pay him for 100 miles not 92...if a driver is made to sit at a shipper/receiver and he arrived on time , and ready to load/unload , then pay him for "his" time , don't make him sacrifice the 1st 1 or 2 hours.....Really good employees don't expect the entire enchalada...they just want to be treated in a way that's right...do that and you'll never have to run an ad , or go looking for help.
