    Is "the safety guy" sleeping with and/or yer "dispatcher guy" too ?? Usually in the bigger, compartmentalized companies, one dislikes, works against the other . . . . :violent3:

    That's the way I understand it, yes, although, if you have hours left to work under recap, you could save the 34 hour reset until it would make sense, as in having less forced downtime, to use it.

    Yeah, I just spoke with someone at FMCSA and it was explained properly. My last reset began at 18:15 on Friday the 9th, so I can begin another reset at 18:15 tonite, Friday the 16th, exactly 168 hrs from the start of the last reset.. Doesn't matter if I worked 10hrs or 69 hrs.. The "safety" guy at my company is a complete moron...
