Are there any penalties for leaving FFE right after you receive your cdl?

Can they prevent you from gaining employment at another trucking company?

    Advise.

You can leave any company right after they train you.Problem comes when they require you to reimburse them their expense to train you.Check into it as all companies are different.Although going into it with the intent to try and get free training seems a little low.

They will hire a collection agency and hound you the rest of your life or until you file bankruptcy. or until you pay it off.

they can't prevent you from working for another carrier. but they don't have to. those cdl schools (academies :))) training phd in trucking science and academics of shifting) are not accepted as a legit trucking school by any decent employer.
not that i know personally, but i've seen people driving after those schools. no good. so, cdl itself is nothing. you need to get trained anyway once you get it, unless you are an experienced trucker but getting your cdl through school due to a significant gap in your employment.
if you are thinking about tricking them into training you for free, the joke might be on you. you'll end up owning money to ffe for sh***y training and not be marketable. pay for your own #### school, get reimbursed by the employer of your choice later.

The whole economy is low, it is tailored for thieves, it generates misery and poverty, it lacks morality, and it destroys environments. That being considered, you should have no problem with my individual pursuit of happiness in America.

There are employers that WILL hire someone fresh out of trucking academies with no solo driving experience, and some of those companies that hire recent grads have a lot more to offer than FFE in terms of pay and or benefits.

The question was answered, did you not get it? I'll say it again, YES they make you pay for the training they gave you. It's not FREE. And quiting for no reason will hurt you if your looking to an other company to hire you. It will be put into a report that other companies can see. The best you can do is, do your time, then find some one else to work for. If you want to leave early, be ready to pay them back for the training.
