Can you leave FFE right after you get your CDL from them?

I have an issue with your so called pursuit of happiness when it affects others.You should fit right in with probably over half of the people in the industry today.Your I want to do what I want to do is fine when your doing it to someone else but you'll be the first person on here whining when FFE (or KLLM now) puts a black mark on your DAC and your credit report.


The report to your DAC while technically not preventing you from gaining some kind of employment will limit gainful employment.Look thru the list of bottom feeding companies on here and get to know them because going the way your going they'll be the only ones willing to hire you.

started the "academy" in March. Finished with my otr trainer @ the end of April. after starving for the next several months left for another company in August. FFE collections demanded $3500 for my "schooling." we settled for @ $1500. Cut them a check and have not looked back.

went from 1700-2000 miles a week @ .28 to 2900-3100 miles a week @ .38. i got lucky, but who knows. i know other former ffe drivers that have done the same thing. btw, out of the 25 or so that "graduated" in my class at the end of 6 months less than 6 were still with ffe. the rest had moved on to bigger and better places.

 

Dont tell me!!! Look at yourself.

 

they won't give it to you until you pay them off. though nobody has asked me for mine...yet.
