Got a quick question for u guys

On my trailer I got a 42ft bottom deck

I loaded a 40ft container all the way up to the step so I got 2 ft open space behind the container

Stupid me plain out spaced out that in loading stuff in to this container down in fort Myers

I'm not sure where I'm loading as in if its a dock or what

My question to u guys is if I do load at a dock will the excess trailer plus the lip of the container affect loading it?

Worse case scenario I could just pull it back I got enough redneck friends down there where I could do it

I just need u guys input

    Thanx

If you trailer won't raise to dock height, then there is no point anyways.

2 foot of space might cause a problem. If you can, I would pull it back to the arse of the wagon if you plan on loading at a dock.

I think the lip on the container will be to tall for the forklift to get in.

How heavy is it? If it's empty have fun with your ratchet binders :biggrin_25522:

or just hook chains to the closest electric pole and move forward :biggrin_2559:

Agent is going to try to get me detention pay. I want $1000. Customer is the one that put the load together. If I don't get my detention pay I won't pull their loads anymore, but I know I won't ever deliver to the dog arse sniffer business anymore.

Think my reload Monday is screwed. Load Monday at 4 pm and have a crane appt for 10 AM Thursday in Raleigh, NC. Oh 12 6 wide needs escorts for every state after TX and no continuous movement. Who schedules this crap, the broker sends a revised rate conf late this afternoon and goes home, nice.Guess we'll have a discussion before I bounce the 250 miles to load Monday.
