I was on perdiem /practical. 3 weeks paid vacation and quarterly bonuses of AT LEAST $500 were enough proof for me.
which pay scale should i chose at Millis?

Your being paid LESS cpm for per diem and ultimately losing about $3k a year all that for an extra week vacation, there no benefit to you unless your dodging alimony or a judgment against you.

Although Millis does offer I would say a "fair" compensation for going per diem, it still benefits them far more than it does yourself. The way to really go is Non per diem/ practical in most cases. Spend a few hours with a tax advisor and find out which is the best option for you situation is my advice.

ah yes but you know who gets laid off first? the non perdiem people. because they are not saving the company money in tax breaks lol

Here is a decent thread with some helpful insight on this issue as well. ( Now I don't know exactly what Knight pays, gives in return for per diem etc. ) but it has some insightful information from some users that seem to know how it works.

If you do the math, you lose .07 per mile and over a year you can lose around 10,000.
