Seymour CT at shipper for the night. 95s to DE tomorrow in the AM. More left over CH Robinson freight. Might be time to jump ship and buy truck. If I'm going to pull this garbage ### location freight I might as well get paid better for it.

Sitting at home.... Going on 5 days now. Came home, turned in my truck for service, got a physical, and then enjoyed my weekend. I did get a call on Friday saying what my load was on Monday and that I would need to leave a little early, like 5 am. No problem, I went to my truck last night to be ready to leave early Monday morning. Uhm, where is my truck? Search the terminal, Phoenix, and it's not there. Look in the shop as good as I can, no truck there. So I call night dispatch. He says, well where did you park it? At the terminal, LOL. So he puts me on hold and looks it up. A few minutes later comes back, well your truck went to the dealer on Saturday and was never worked on. ???? I was told on Friday that my truck needed to go to a dealer, but I had to do this Monday load and I should contact my FM on Monday on where they would send me to get the dealer work done. So I ask the night dispatch, sooooo I guess I still have a load for delivery on Monday morning don't I. He says yes and then I say, "I guess that's not getting delivered is it." He just laughed and said no.
So now I am here waiting again as the last update I got was that they hadn't even got the valves off yet, at 1 PM today. (The issue was the EGR Valves needed to be replaced.) So now I call back in the morning to see if it has been repaired so I can get back on the road and earning money. I guess the bright side is I am at home! -
If you have to deal with a problem like that at least you are HOME!
Cheryl Thanks this. -
Kinda pissy about pulling a curtain side atm. But with all the stops on this load kinda makes up for it. Easy money, still hate pulling anything but flats.
6 stops 640 miles.
