    You funny guy. You're talking to a guy with Dana 60s on his Scout, H1 wheels and tires with 41" military tires going on soon. I want to get my suspension done first. Then comes the built 500 Caddy, 4l80E and twin transfer cases :biggrin_25511:. Can't do the engine swap yet because I have no idea where my axles will end up. I know my front axle will be in front of the front bumper.

    You already need to rethink what your doing motor does not matter where your front axle will be and putting your axle that far forward is a really bad idea first being your coilovers will be at a week part of your frame 2nd your tires will stick out pass your bumper. Yes i would set it up with the tire even with the front bumper but not the axle....

    Well, I have this thing called a oil pan that the axle housing is not allowed to hit. Approach angle will be 90* and the frame can be reinforced just like all the other Scouts ;)

    Trust me you'll never do have the crazy $&!+ I have. they make these things called bump stops that stop that!
