RDTC school starting August 12th

That is correct. You go home right after RDTC. As for an update. RDTC is excellent. Very fast paced. We started driving day one. By weds out first week we were driving on the roads. Today was day 5 and we now are driving in the city traffic, on the highway and country roads. Backing in the yard and learning a lot fast. We have excellent instructors too. Bob and Brian are great to work with. Actually, everyone at Roehl so far has been great. Safety is first and foremost. Roehl really cares about the equipment too. Our group of 4 students all agree that we are glad we decided to go with Roehl. The days are long and there is a lot to learn but if you are serious about learning to drive right and get your CDL in 2 weeks you've made the right choice.

 

Will do Scott. I agree. Our personalities mesh perfectly. He is calm informative and patient. He really knows his stuff too. All around good guy that I would actually be friends with outside of RDTC. Everyday here at RDTC makes my training partner a I both agree we made the right choice in picking a school to get our CDL and work for Roehl if everything goes as planned.

 

2 to a truck is really nice! Brian has two and the two of us have Bob. All of us had Joe for Saturday class. There are four students in there that just passed their CDL's on Friday. Our turn to hopefully pass this Friday.

 

You should call Roehl and ask for a recruiter. You need to be sure you are in a hire area. I know several people that want to drive for Roehl but live in areas they do not hire from. Best of luck to you. The training at RDTC is about as good as it could get anywhere. I have over 46 hours in a truck my first 5 days here. 16 hours BTW. The days are long and you definitely get your monies worth. I know a guy that paid over $6,000 for an 8 week CDL program and he said he wished he went with RDTC and Roehl.
