You DONT know how many miles you are driving a week?????? Really. It is as easy as setting your tripometer on Tuesday morning. If you don't know your miles you CANNOT get a true amount you are making per mile. You talk like someone that just got a new shiney truck and still have really no concept of what you are doing. Booking six loads out just eliminated you from every load from no until the end of your tour. Most of Schneiders best paying loads pop up only a couple days in advance. You are leaving so much money on the table.
I am not trying to be a jerk but I have been on SNI's Choice board over 4 years and never had a single negative week. I have seen many drivers fail and turn thier trucks back in and yes many of them thought I was a jerk because I pointed out thier failures. I run 8-10 loads a week normally driving less than 2000 miles, home every weekend and a couple nights a week and most my checks net over $1500. I easily gross over $2 a mile and can normally net over $1 a mile.
Slow down and learn what those who have made it and failed can teach you. -
Ok, something doesn't seem right? Not saying your pulling our leg or anything but $2500 - $3500 take home seems a bit high. I have occasionally hit $2300 and a buddy of mine that runs short loads in the east I know took home $2500 last week but he doesn't do it every week. Is your truck paid for? I could see making that if you didn't have a truck payment. Just curious if you bought the truck out right? Or maybe the payment hasn't kicked in yet? They do let you go 2 or 3 weeks in the beginning without a truck payment to give ya a chance to figure things out and so they have time to get it in the system.

LOL do they not drug test at SNI????

I did pay for the truck outright.

Thanks for the advice. I'm still new at this, but I'm getting the hang of it. I can't turn my truck in, cause I paid for it. But I do plan on selling it maybe after a year or two. Then getting a brand new one again. Actually was thinking about getting a Lonestar, but I'm glad I got a Evolution, and yes on the shiny truck.

I'm got a slightly used 2014 Cascadia Evolution...
I'm got a slightly used 2014 Cascadia Evolution with 20,600 miles on it, got a good bargain. On my deal, I need 1400 miles to break even. I'm used to running 2800 miles a week, so that won't be...Last edited: Aug 19, 2013

First thought about going on the 1 year lease program, but with a credit score of 905, I was talked in to buying the truck outright.
