Not a bad idea I guess. You said it's not expensive, how much $ we talking about? She's going into the shop tomorrow to replace a broken leaf spring on the forward drive axle.

I think around 150 - 200 bucks exchange. They take yours for core and give you a reman. Check it out.

I bought a rebuilt wabco and they cost $275 before the core. If you buy just the filter they are around $75. That's what I was told but I did buy the reman dryer.

maintenance schedule on my prostar said every 250k miles. I think yours is same brand air dryer.RogueX Thanks this.

to check air driyer is easy. Drive truck for a week w/o drainong moisture from air tanks and next weekend check air tanks for moisture.
