System Transport

I finished trucking school in January, I start with system on Sunday (orientation) I'll be going into the flatbed division, I'm looking forward to it..anyone have any pointers? (I'm a brand new trucker btw, this will be my first trucking job)

 

I'd like to get on with System too. Keep us updated man!

 

Hey streetmaster the Phoenix division is an all o/o division. No company positions. Hope that helps

 

I seen on their website System pays company drivers hourly, unless in the wind energy division that is salary. Any info on that?

 

How do flat bedders do down in Phoenix? I like the fact they offer % of revenue to O/O's, but curious on price and availability of freight.

 

They pay .32cpm. I'm not sure which division pays hourly.

 

Does anyone have info on their Wind Energy division, pay rate etc?? Hopefully somwone will see this!

 

32 cpm ? Here I thought System was a decent outfit..... I NOW am assuming that this place is a haven for x-cons and drivers with shotty records at that pay rate !

 

drivers usually start at .345 a mile unless they are just coming out of school then they are at .325 for a few months then its up too .345... they are a great outfit and don't go assuming they hire cons and bad drivers cause that couldn't be farther from the truth! They pay mileage to most drivers unless they are the local drivers and wind fleet gets salary but only when they are hauling blades or towers... other times of the year they are paid per mile but at a higher rate than normal

 

Just talked to a recruiter... Maxi division gets .40 a mile... seriously considering these guys. somebody said the trucks were slow? anybody know what they spec the trucks out at? 10 speeds? 13? motors?
