I agree with mary trucker and atruckr. just b/c my truck is in the shop I'm not frustrated or mad at SFI or SNI this is not their fault at all and they have been more than helpful under the circumstances.. and it's under warranty so don't have to be paying out of pocket to get it fixed.. sucks being down but my frustration is with the dealership and their communication with me and their personal in their own building.. my truck will not be back to frieghtliner of san antonio.. I'll take it to petro or ta for oil changes and a different dealer for warranty work![]()

It sure can be a hit and miss, but you are very correct in the challenges.. those that don't kill us only make us stronger
and if that's the full case then I should be as strong as hercules right now LMAO..
I wish you luck in getting your booty out of there.. might watch San Antonio freight too.. I know it sounds a long distance but there are some loads that run out of McAllen and Pharr, TX from time to time to Cali or NV.. It's about a 165 deadhead there but they are light under 10k and pay around 1.50 or so just a thoughtgood luck and I can't wait to be back hauling booty again
atruckr Thanks this. -

Ahh, so if you guys dont mind me asking, how many miles do you have to run a week to have a decent take home? And what is an average take home? Again, if you dont mind me asking -
What your saying I have heard before on this board but no one ever said anything to me when switching to IC about being regional or OTR to be able to lease a truck. I know we all like to get home but if I were you every now and then would tell your DBL you want to stay out for 6 weeks or more. I use to do that and then sometimes would stay out 2 weeks and back home for a couple days etc.. Show them your willing to run!Last edited: Aug 19, 2013
