Are you guys in Idaho? I will go to Hermiston OR tomorrow to get another load of onions to go to L.A. I will head out I-84 to 95 and head South. If you in that corner let me know.

Hopefully, I can keep that load from sliding off the palettes.:biggrin_25523: I am 0 and 2 with my last 2 runs. I want to go someplace else I am tired of California. I am trying to get some loads from Tacoma, WA to Anchorage AK. I would like that trip a lot better. The HOS rules are a lot more driver friendly up North as well.

going westbound is the only incredible rates i get. i go east for some cheap crap. and west for great crap.

camping out in wheeler ridge. it's 105. it was 55 in san diego. saw my last cali scale for awhile. 6 scales in 24 hours is enough for me. i felt sorry for the SHMUCK weighing 35360 on his drives. but he wasn't american.

20 miles to the north for pickup to odessa texas and sweet tea. since i'ts going to be a HOT next few days. i'm taking the 40 outta here. hit the 93 to phoenix and catch the 10.

all that after i get a service first. and all you can eat breakfast buffet.

Oh man so close. I will come right by there since I will be heading South on 95, but it will be tonight if they ever get me loaded here. The other truck has been here since last night.

I am sitting in lovely LA again waiting to get offloaded. Than it is a skip and a hop down the street to start getting reloaded. I am trying to get out of LA as soon as possible and will be taking the scenic route up to Salinas for two more picks.

I did swing by the CHP office in San Bernardino to pick up a copy of my collision report and dropped a copy of the dash cam recording. I had them check it to make sure it worked and it had quite the audience watching when it played.

My climate control system took a couple hour break yesterday when I went through the high desert and the big hills. All vent doors closed, temperature control stopped working and went to full heat. I pulled over, but Volvo does not have shut off valves on the heater hoses. I did not want to put vice grips on the nice rubber hoses so I suffered. My door panel got so hot climbing up to Montgomery Pass at 7167' elevation that I could no longer rest my arm on it. It is bad enough to not have AC in 90 degree weather, but when the heat turns on it really sucks. It came back and is working normal again. Needless to say when I spent the night in Boron I let the truck idle all night for the first time this summer it was over 90 degrees when I went to bed at 9:30 last night.
