They didn't pull any BS tactics. They told the man upfront what was expected of him before he arrived. I saw no mention of his thoughts on the final email he received prior to his arrival for orientation. He said it was another physical but it was not, I should know I just did this so called "test" Tuesday! IF anyone fails this simple pre work hire thing then they definitely DO NOT need to be driving a truck! Everything that was done was to see if you can do the job. Like I said before IF your pulse rate goes as high as 167 for these simple tasks then he has a serious medical issue.I mean Come on! If your heart rate goes that high simply by stepping 12 inches onto a step and back down for a minute, he needs not bother to come. I didn't see where he said that they ALSO sent the video to watch and be prepared when he got here!
Bottom line DO NOT bad mouth a company (any for that matter) for your own failures.

Schneider does not use a standard beats per minute. The formula they use is 220 minus your age times .9!! For example if you're 38 years old it would be 220-38=182. 182X.9=163.8. That is not an unreasonable number. I do not believe Schneider used bait and switch as all the testing they require you to pass is listed on their website.

I got no dog in the fight just sounded to me off his first post then they sit him in the dark room and he can go van .
My question would be this .. Again I got no dig in the fight . But if I didn't pass fur one sector of your business how could I be good for the other . Are their requirements different for each business segment such as : Vans , Bulk , dedicated , oil field , etc ..
Do they all have a different requirement ?
My statement of bait and switch comes from not having total knowledge about them and all their business practices or requirements , however with that said if the requirements are the same fir all and they tgen offer you a Van position then it sounds a little like a bait and switch to me .. -
I guess I should have said HE and not I .. Cause I .. Didn't have this issue

To me I guess on the outside looking in is if you don't qualify for one sector at what ever the rate is : and are considered a health hazard or what have you . Then how are you all the sudden safe as they offer you a position in vans ?
That is if the OP was stating the truth when he says they offered the other position the same day etc
just outside looking in -
