    That I am not sure of. I haven't attented orientation, yet. I'm suppose to start next week. I know when it is your time to go home, they look for a load close to your home.

    Hmmm... Why would a school advise against checking with companies for pre-hire?? Maybe because those companies recruiters know that a certificate from that school isn't worth the paper it's printed on. Further, a good school will pre-qualify you as a hireable student. If you have fellonies within 7-10 years or DUI within 5-7 years, excessive speeding, reckless or careless driving, etc within 3 years, they should be telling you up front that trucking may be a tough career for you to break into. Beware of the red flags of a bad trucking school!
