...and don't be the one that hits a parked truck with 1/2 an acre empty on both sides. The guy that did that to me totally ruined my morning.

Once you get out here then you will really learn what it takes to be a truck driver, Like one post says, please keep to the right except to pass the car sitting on the side of the road, you won't pass much else, Good luck. Be safe! Park in the middle space then gently move it to the one next to the other truck! I wish you well, I hope your trainer is a good one!

 

Try for a good tanker or flatbed company.

One reason for that comment.....THE MIRROR....lots of wonderful people in this world that are drivers, sure sometimes you have bad days and all , but for the most part after over 3 decades in this industry I've learned it's all about attitude...Walk around with a chip on your shoulder about life and you Won't have many true friends in trucking or anywhere else, for that matter.......Try treating folks with respect , and don't have an I , ME , my problems are always someone else' s fault demeanor and you'll find folks will warm up to you just fine.
