Why would any employer pay for vacation that hasn't been earned at their company? I've been in the workforce for 20yrs. Why should I expect 4 weeks of vacation at a new employer when I haven't earned it? If all that paid vacation was at one company, maybe I might try for it but if that times is spread out over several different employers, then that becomes wasted time. Don't job hop.

As a recruiting tool to attract experienced drivers away from carriers they have been with long enough to earn multiple weeks. Probably should not hire job hoppers in this scenario. I fail to understand why an employer will hire a guy with 5 jobs in 5 years or 30 jobs in 30 years and expect him to stay more than a year. You might want to consider paying hub miles as well to set yourself apart from the herd.

    RERM Thanks this.
