Detention pay is a sore point. I think I went over it a bit back around page two or something, but basically there is none. OTOH, it helps us be Tyson's number two carrier (they sure make me FEEL like #2 sometimes!) and keeps us rolling. The Broken Bow Tyson plant is on my "no-go" list, but the rest are pretty good. Mostly drop/hooks and mostly timely.

You've got it exactly right. One reason I love elogs is that she figures the 8-2 split for me so I never have to worry that I goofed up. I use that option all the time, BTW.DenaliDad Thanks this.

Hell I can't even reply to a PM on this thing till I post so many! Sharpp I just wanted to thank you today for the information and taking the time to talk to me about JCT. Sarah said she had my application in front of mng for final approval. If everything works out maybe I'll hear something for sure tomorrow.
Thanks again! -

Well go start your own thread and get started! I will follow it too! I hope the negative folks will stay out of your thread I feel sorry for Sharpp but he is tough and should be OK! -
Shoot, no offense friend but I dont feel sorry for sharp one bit. I wish i was as proactive as sharp in my short stent of leasing.. I could write a book on what NOT to do as a lease driver.. and one is fuel management.. I just fueled when i felt like it and kept my truck turning at 67-68 as long as i possibly could.. I even got the attitude someone owed me something and i would only go where I want.. because I owned the truck.. HAHAHAHA
Jokes on me.. im renting the truck and any revenue is better than none.. Thats what happens when you lease with 11 months experience and are sort of immature to boot.. So bravo sharp. You are doing a great job and I applaud you my friend.. you are making something work that most of us cant even get grasp doing.Sharpp Thanks this. -
Nice post, DM I meant I was sorry to Sharpp for all of the negative post in his thread where he was just trying to get the numbers to his business for all of us to see. I'm finding there are those who don't know how to operate a business, I have been running a business since I had a paper route, I only ordered enough papers extra to get my parents one and one extra for the one stolen on any given day, then if it became an issue of the same paper being stolen then I would move where I was leaving it, That normally took care of things. So back to trucking we go! I wouldn't mind doing this thing with a buy your own truck deal if they were running Dry box. I'm just not ready to go over to reefer and deal with what they are dealing with. Thanks for the Post! Good Luck in your future.Last edited: Aug 21, 2013

I will hit ya up tomorrow with my other list of questions.
