This review is in response to an 8-20-13, phone call that happened between myself and a woman who claimed to be Susan William, CEO OFLakeside Transportation, Inc. The phone call was in response to an email that I sent to [email protected] regarding a harrassment incident that happened on 8-15-13, at 11:30-11:45 p.m. Before I post the exprience, I would like to preface the post by acknowledging the reason for the post. 1. S.Williams was very short, insensitive and rude during the conversation. 2. S. Williams was quick to draw conclusions. 3. S. Williams stood in defense of the company by alledging the incident too not have happened, and that all of the shuttle busses were parked and accounted for. She a;so stated that there was some shuttle buses in Oliviet on Thursday. 4. S. Williams was sarcastic in her response to me when I told her of a stalking situation I had been a victimee of. In short, if S. Williams had simply responded kindly in writing rather than disconnecting the phone call while I was talking, I would not have felt the need to post the incident.
Given her response,e I feel the need to warn consumers about Lakeside-Transportation, Inc.,, by telling them to beaware that what happened to me will not happen to them.
--WARNING----WARNING---WARNING
I encountered a troubling and threatning harrassment by some man who drove a Lakeside Transportation, Inc., shuttle bus. THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED.
I was walking ona mile road from Greenfield road. As I approached another major cross streeet, I noticed a black man emerge from behind the Lakeside shuttle bus. The shuttle bus was parked in front of a car that was parked in the driveway.) As I approached, this black man began to harrass me by immediately saying, what are you doing in front of my house? Why are you out here? Why are you in front of my house? Why are you standing here? May I help you? He continously harrassed and began to walk towards me. I called 911. When he saw me calling, he immediately got inside of the Lakeside shuttle bus. He continued the harrasments by opening the passenger door and yelling from the driver's seat through the door. He eventually drove away from the house onto 13 mile road and turned left onto Southfield road.
I was became fearful because #1,I was walking in the street and was about to walk onto the sidewalk when he approached me. (I was near CVS which is located on the major road) #2, I was not doing anything to him nor to his alledged place of residence. I was walking on this mile road enroute to my apartment . #3. I failed to understand the reason for the approach. I did not call for shutle service, nor did I do anything to warrant being approached.
I called the Lakeside office this morning and spoke with a lady who answerd the phone. I told her about an incident that happened last night, and that I wanted to alert someone of it. I stated that I would prefer to put it in writing and asked her for an email address. She gave an email address of [email protected]. I also spoke to a man named Victor who was said to be the supervisor. I told him that an incident had occurred and that I wanted to alert someone of it. I asked for his email address and was given an email address of [email protected]. I asked him for a company email address. He said the problem would be taken care a lot quicker if I sent it to his personal email address. Given the nature and seriousness of the incident, I opted not to use personal email addresses because the person who harrassed me was not driving a personal/private vehicle but was driving a Lakeide shuttle bus.
I asked (in an email msg), for them to please confirm if this person did indeed represented Lakeside Transportation, Inc. I also asked is Lakeside Transportation have a practicee of approaching people who are walking and harrassing them-especially at night? Unfortunately, the response I received is described in the preface. The CEO of Lakeside Transportation, Inc., was rude, insensitive and defensive.
Warning--waning--be aware of lakeside transportation, inc.--waning!!

This is kinda like the story of the woman who called 911 because the drive-thru forgot to put French fries in her bag.
-
Another Hit and Run poster.

He thought you were a thief and you thought he was a stalker. I love it!

So that's all that happened???? You were walking, the guy allegedly flipped out and the company didn't care? Folks just don't know how to go on about their business these days.....No crime was commited, Go home!!

This is an issue for the police, not the company. Your correct course of action was to get somewhere safe and call 9-1-1. In the future, be wary of your surroundings, carry mace or take a self-defense class. You can find inexpensive self-defense courses through your community rec center or local YMCA or YWCA.
