You say JB HUNT right, they are strict about incident, accident and everything their orientation is 4 days they only talk about safety lol but with jb hunt you need to pay attention with what you doing otherwise they will screw you up, a car went underneath my trailer after she didn't stop in a stop sign when i called the safety dept the guy was like it's your fault i was like oh really im going straight on my way no light no stop sign no yield for me and how is it my fault did i fail to stop in a stop sign he laugh and say how long i think they don't have a problem and it's fun for them to screw drivers up

Do any of you know which of the larger carriers do not use the dac report?

They all do. Reason why it's a joke.

ETA: new hire ( recruiter / dispatcher ) from that carrier can put anything on your DAC.

Estes express don't. Some others don't. Won't find much info on me with the dac. I stayed clear of those outfits

They are definitely anti BS. I've had customers walk up to me at restaurants when I was a city driver in uniform and tell me that.

They fall off eventually, But trying to wait for that is not a good career choice, You or he can put in a dispute or rebuttal, DAC will add it to the report, but the receiving party will probably not take that as an ecuse to hire him, I don't like the DAC system nor do I like the "Fair Credit Act" They neither one are fair. I wish you all luck.

Alot of companies don't look at Dac. Think that's a OTR thing. What's screwing you is having less then a year. Apply at foodservice they don't even report if you get fired or even look at it high turnover. Or go to concrete or trash til you hit your year mark. Alot of local good tractor trailer jobs dont care for dac. Having a clean MVR will keep you employed is the key. No tickets or accidents on your DMV.

2/3 OTR companies dinged me for walking away when I smelled BS.
like you said, better companies look at the MVR and DOT reports and not the silly DAC. Thankfully I've always been Local
