Ya, they do have a terminal out of Manassas...but you want to get on with the division in Fredericksburg. Of the 21 terminals across the country, We are the only location that is paid by the hour. McLane pays us for every second we are in the truck, even when we are "off duty" in the sleeper.

Not sure which is harder but u should def make more $$ doing food service.. From what I've gather 60-80k is avg n possible for 100k. i work in warehouse pulling orders from the drivers to deliver n make $30+ hr on performance base pay.. A lot better than my base rate of $15.40hr

Portland McLane gets paid by the case, per stop and mileage. Its definitely more than $725 a week

like he said.. I actually had a drive for sysco come up to me last night when I was getting ready to start my shift for work. N told me he was thinking about coming into the warehouse n working with us n asked me how much I made. So I told him n guess he is making more cause he changed his tune quickly lol.. Granted I don't work 70hrs a wk but I'm one of the fastest guys in my warehouse.. But I only work 45-50hrs wk if they let us work 6days maybe 55hrs.. Most I've ever worked was 60hrs on 6days during busy season that's 70-80k cases being shipped out n only 40guys pulling them
