so I was driving everything was great temperatures were fine all of a sudden I lose all electrical power the only thing that was still working was the four ways. Does anyone have any idea where to check I called my mechanic he says it might be a loose wire but I have no idea where to start looking. I lost power to the dash headlights and engine about a minute later they got power again and it started back up with no problem has this happened to anyone here? Do you have any ideas where to start looking for this issue I have a caterpillar c15. I would appreciate any help or any ideas I checked all the wires on the battery they are tight I check the wires on the fuse box all the pins are in tight anybody else got any ideas?

I agree. Check the starter bolts for any loose cables. Check all grounds. As well as your block of large fuses in the battery box. And your batteries. Start at your sources of power. Also check the wire coming from the alternator/ generator. I have a 387 if you need any help yell.

Be sure the 3 small connectors at the batteries are connected. One or more of these supplies juice to the ECM.
In my experiences, it's almost always a bad ground.speeedy Thanks this. -
