Great, I'm being compared to people fathers now!
Anyways.
So does anyone see something out of place here???
Did I ever mention I do bodywork too? Probably not since I HATE it and then someone might want me to do it.

If you are doing bodywork on your big rig, in your back yard, and you are using an animal trap for a workbench,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
You just might be a Redneck -
It's not a workbench. It's a photographing pedistal.... Get it right.
And I'm considering painting the truck in my back yard!!!!
I have no shop and it's been raining for two days. I'm just glad to be able to be outside -
Do you have a problem making right hand turns?
-
Will you be buying your paint at Wally World? In spray cans? -

Looked like the pitman arm would hit that bracket on a hard right. Probably just an illusion.
-
so what is wrong with that pic? just that you don't have a big enough hammer lol,,
-
How big of a hammer do you want??? It was only sheet aluminum!
Nope doesn't hit. the bracket goes down lower then the arm as it swings.
Only thing wrong is the 500 pounds of 1/4 steel plate bolted to the frame and the 4 inch square tube that runs under th motor to the 1/4" plate on the other side.
This truck was a car hauler in it's day and that is the support for the overhead rack. this part was left because the hoop that runs under the pan from the factory is gone. I am going to cut most of this out but will leave some of it untill I find another hoop.
Does anyone know if I need that hoop? I think it's aluminum channel so it can't be for support, I'm thinking just to protect the oil pan or something
