Well, my day went to crap. Just got off the phone with an agent I had booked a load with for tomorrow. Aparently they decided to send the stuff on a cargo plane today instead of me taking it to Houston. So after I unload tomorrow morning in the middle of nowhere, I will have nowhere to go. I have a feeling I may be deadheading 1,500 miles home this week since there is 0 freight worth a crap out here in Salt Lake. I'd rather spend the $800 in fuel than pull 46k pounds of junk for $1.45 mile

 

Just got home from my tractor caravan. We had 23 tractors that drove 27 miles to the show grounds for next weekend.

We had a potluck dinner that would rival any food you could get anywhere. I know I talk about food a lot but you put a bunch of older Midwestern farm wives together for a potluck and I challenge anyone to find better grub.

 

yes, it seems they could rename the flatbed section to "beerdrinkers" and the participants wouldn't change much.

 

i agree i used to this with a bunch of the guys from the snow plow forum i was on back when i was doing that every year we got together at hooters and took over we had a blast

 

Went to the Astros game on Saturday with the family. Now I'm waiting since 7 at Sunbelt, there computers are down and the machine needs to be washed.

 

Pulling the hopper around today.

 

I'm running skinny roads in AR today with a 14 wide and not just from Bald Knob to W Memphis but From Texarkana to Little Rock as well.
