Can anyone tell me about Mclane Foodservice in Atlanta? My husband works in another Mclane center, and we are thinking about transferring. All of his buddies have bad things to say about it, like he'll make less money, more danger, less miles, etc. Is there an Atlanta Mclane driver who can tell me what its really like over there??

Without trying to sound like a jerk, you are already receiving inside information about it. What can you possibly hope for with outside information online, or inside information that is most likely the same that you are already hearing?

Is it that you don't like the answer you are already getting?

His friends have never been over there, so they don't really know. So it has nothing to do with me not liking the answer, it has everything to do with us wanting accurate information. Im hoping for someone who actually works there to answer

Only 2, but they say bad things about every other location as well, which is why im not considering them a reliable source. If it is worse over there than where we are, its no big deal to us, we'll just look into other locations, we just want real experiences to judge on, not made up ones

Gotcha, unfortunately I can't offer any insight. My only experience with Mclane has been as a driver for an outside carrier making deliveries. I just wanted to make sure that you weren't trying to force something irregardless of good info. You know what I mean?

I currently work for the Atlanta division mclane. To be honest it's all on your perspective how you see it! It's a slave job and these people paint the picture of it being great but to each his own. I think the potential is there to work extra days. Overall these people don't give a #### about you!!! Shut the #### up and do the job or get the #### out. Please believe they will paint it a different way. But to blind that's excepted. My 3rd eye is wide open. For example a slave worked for 20 years and they cut him loose because of an accident. Accidents come with a driving a 18 wheeler! After 20 years no problems you fire him because he got into a fender bender ? Anyway good luck to your husband and you as well! I hope my insight was somewhat helpful. Peace
