As vavega stated it is on I81 but the Petro owns it now and I think the gun display has been taken down.

 

yes, that used to be Whites, but Petro moved in, took the guns out.
if you ever find your self out in the Reno / Sparks ,NV area, stop at Sierra Sid's aka the TA, xit 19 I-80 and check out the collection of guns, that Sid the original Owner of the truck stop has there. TA/ kept them on display.

 

I was going to mention the sparks TA also. If I remember correctly, I'd say there are 100 or so on display there.

 

My goodness Petro took over whites!!? I loved that place the ppl was always nice and food was good esp. The bbq sandwiches! The first time I went I think I was in that hall about 30mins looking at the collection. The one in Reno Is good also.

 

Been going on two years now.

 

And they remodeled the restaurant too, so the giant lot lizard is no longer mounted on the wall!

 

After Mr & Mrs. White passed away their children stripped the walls of all the cool displays and sold them at auction. The Petro is just a shell of the former Whites now and that is a shame. It was my all time favorite truck stop.
