Hi, alll....
So bottom line here, i am been offer to lease a truck at Hirschbach Motor Lines, is good to do it? Is this company as bad as the lady who start this thread explain... im looking to make good money, but not ready to dug a hole for myself and career.... I just need a savvy opinion on this company.... I'll be very appreciated.... Thanks... -
To be honest it's hit or miss. Some drivers do very well, others not much. A lot of how things turn out are beyond your control, depends on whether or not you have an awesome dispatcher or just a dude (and or chick) that merely comes to work. Performance of your truck has a lot do to with it also, if you have tons of problems that means less time on the road, kind of obvious. But controlling what you can control, means understanding trip planning and your hours of service. Do what you can do, communicate what you cannot. If you disagree with someone simply disagree, don't get frustrated with them and loose your cool. Take what you can in stride and you have a much better chance of being successful. Many drivers like it, many drivers don't. Be sure you understand all the lease information, if there is something you don't understand during orientation ask them to clarify. If the orientation manager can't ask if you can speak to the lady in claims, she'll clarify the deductibles for you, that is what drives most people crazy and makes them quit.
