Met up with Mackdaddymark last night in Laramie, WY. Good guy, and was nice to meet some more members.

Now in headed east on 80 and gonna stop in York for some fuel, then hopefully make Newton, IA tonight. Need to unload in Madison, WI and Milwaukee tomorrow and then shoot down to Joliet to load up a boom section on Friday to babysit over the holiday

 

I took a break from renovating the new house with a local no tarp gravy run. Tomorrow it's back to demo, mudding drywall and painting. I am NOT a fan of these new fangled sheet metal studs.

 

Me? I have been off since Monday...well not really off...working on my retirement skills at the casino

 

Sitting at the Peelot in Savannah (Port Wentworth), GA. Arrived here yesterday afternoon with another 16' wide by 99' long wing.

Over the past couple days I have had a tooth that became abscessed and was killing me but my dentist is in Arlington, WA some 3,000+ miles away and it may be months before I'm back there. Anyway after a sleepless night popping handfuls of Motrin I gave in this morning and started calling local dentists. Finally found one that would extract it today and was quoted $191.00 for it. So this morning after unloading my wing I headed to the dentist office for a pain removal. He took a quick x-ray, extracted the tooth then even cut it in half and attached it back to my partial so I wouldn't have a gap in my smile till my gum heals and I can get my denture re-worked. When I went to leave the girls were blown away saying he doesn't even give discounts to family members and my total bill out the door with no insurance was $75.00.

So now I'm parked again till tomorrow morning then I'm doing a super-load local move (20' wide X 60' long) then bouncing back to Grand Prairie, TX, dropping off the wing trailer and bobtailing home to Kansas where hopefully my phone won't have service for a few days while I'm anchored out in the middle of the lake in my 34' Marathon with the ####tail flag flying and feeding the fish. I'm leaving the computers at home, stocking the fridge with some fermented grapes, the cooler with Bud Light and ice and dropping the anchor right smack in the middle of the lake for 4 days. If the wife and kids want to come visit they're going to have to ride the jet-ski's out because I'm not going to shore for ANYTHING!

 

I got my Fargo load of concrete beams ready for the morning. Hopefully they get me unloaded quick so I can race home to get a load of equipment headed for Iowa.

 

I should be rolling into Walcott, IA about 11:30 tonight .... Hope there's still parking lol
