Anyone have any input on airtabs vs Vorblade? I have seen airtab for a few years but now I see these vorblades. I hear they are airtabs on steriods. They are also more money. About $100 more for the tractor and about $300 or $400 more for the trlr. Any help?

Still no answer as to which one might be better. The Vorblade claims a greater fuel savings but all products say they are better than thier competitors. Driving slower has nothing to do with wether or not these things work or which works bettter so thats useless.
Vorblade also sells a inovative skirt but not sure how well that might work either. I have also heard that the chute uder the trlr works better than skirts. Any input on that?

I had Air tabs on my last tractor.. 2006 International 9400. I couldn't tell if there was any mpg improvement, but I did notice it seemed a little more stable in a strong crosswind. I decided to put them on my 2013. I think I may have picked up a tenth, maybe a shade more. MPG for June was 7.57, the tabs got put on the weekend of the 4th of July, and July's mpg numbers came in at 7.74. I run the same areas with much of the same freight. But that 2 tenths pickup could be due to something else and not the tabs. My August numbers came in a a shade over 8 mpg. Wind, traffic, etc can all play into it. I know the tabs sure didn't hurt anything, and like the International before, my tractor now seems more stable in a crosswind. I am confident in saying that if anyone is thinking that these things are going to make a big difference in mpg, they are due for a drug scan. They may or may not help. There are just too many variables and no two situations are the same. But they are relatively cheap, so if they even pulled off a tenth of an mile increase in mpg, that would cover the cost pretty quickly. As far as looks go, I am not sure I would want the vorblade stuff on my ride. The Airtabs are a little more subtle. Oh, and I didn't change anything regarding speed. I ran like a usually do.... 1425 rpm / 62 mph with occasional bumps higher or lower as the situation dictates.

An update. I bought and installed air tabs. They defiantly helped with stability. The truck doesn't rock back and forth so much anymore. I can absolutely feel the diff. As far as MPG I see no diff.
