1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

Been w/ Werner for 6 yrs, last 3yrs have been on same acct, really liked that acct but mostly cuz I had a great
disptcher who respected me and believed what I would tell him, besides I knew the routes. Dispatcher is now being switched, & acct no longer says they will get me home!!! The only thing left for me is running 48states which I hate; finding a different place everyday & dealing with a bunch of wise ### stupid people they would call "dispatchers".
So unfortunately I have to change Co's.
Seeking dedicated or southeast region, dry van only, if possible home wkly(would do out 2wks if pay was much better),need good benefits (was on Blue Cross which covered most payments), of course pay must be at least 34cpm +. need to take Trk home, and is it too much to ask for idling Ok in extreme weather or having an apu?
I did have 1 parking lot incident in past 5yrs . Anyone have a suggestions? Been reading up on Transport
America but see alot of bad reports here so not sure on them, maybe miles depend on where you live?. I've seen that EPES also goes through Danville Va but again see some poor reports. Maybe I should just take those disgruntled drivers reports with a grain of
    salt, eh? :biggrin_25512:
    Thanks

That's a shame your journey is turning sour. Have you discussed it with Driver Placement to see what other options are available? My Fleet Manager is Larry Donelly and he is good. Keeps me rolling, has a good sense of humor, and two great grand children already. At least I've got more grandchildren. But seriously, the grass is not always greener on the other side so my advice is to really sort through the issues at hand and do your research if you really feel the need to jump. I became an owner/operator so I can have more control and grow a business. Werner has always come through for me and when I leave them I will have my own authority and will develop a Texas customer base so I won't have to leave Texas. In a couple of years I'll be 65 and will start drawing my SS and then slow down and run two weeks out of the month only.

    Good luck
