Roehl has pretty high standards, i was pretty impressed with the people I went through RDTC with. I don't know much about C1.

Well I don't have any blemishes on my record, I also have a excellent work history for the past 6 years working for one employer. So figured I would be an excellent candidate but not sure why they would say they don't take students who graduated C1 Truck Driver Training, since most CDL mills are the same.Chinatown Thanks this.

hard to say about C1, possibly they've had problems with other students (training) from C1 or something with their curriculum they don't like. get that 3mos. and come on over...
Grimacus Thanks this. -

System Transport has Western Regional or 48 states including Canada & Alaska. They prefer you download their application and Fax it to them.
In Reno, check Sherwin Williams; understand it's an excellent employer for drivers.
Melton Truck Lines is also excellent for 48 states running. -
System Transport and Melton Truck Lines will probably hire you; both excellent carriers with average annual pay of $50K + per year. Both have Texas terminals, but that's not really a good criteria for choosing a company because you will still get hometime.

Sherwin Williams wants 2 yrs experience. I looked at Melton also but at some point I had to stop looking and pick one and start working.

I ran Van National for Roehl for just under 3 years and the only issue I had was that they couldn't get me home on time EVER. I live just outside of Denver and Roehl lost some of their customers out here so it was harder and harder to get me home. That was the only issue I had with Roehl. Other than that, good miles, good pay, and good company. They treat drivers very well. If you are an IDIOT driver, you will be treated accordingly.
