NY Snowman handled his side of the situation in a professional and level headed manner. We need more drivers who approach challenging situations the way he has. Celadon certainly hasn't helped their corporate image. Not that they care what drivers think about their company. The company reps were heartless and uncaring. I think you should challenge the DAC report. Then at least the challenge will be on record. You will be able to get a good driving job in spite of the bogus DAC report. Many trucking companies see the DAC for what it is - self serving tripe that only bolsters the stance of companies that use the service.

You need to sue Celadon for your losses and you need to prove your case by continuing looking for CDL work. Documentation is the key and take pictures of any Qualcom info for your sake. Many CDL jobs out there right now with the new July 1st 70hr rule.

I drove for Celadon for 6 weeks just over a year ago. I got fair miles, but I thought it was chaotic and most Celadon drivers I talked to wanted or were in the process of leaving. The truck was only 6 months old (newest truck I ever drove) and was also the smoothest truck (International ProStar+). Too many negatives in my opinion and trucking needs to be really smooth to make good money. Very good at getting me home, but their freight lanes didn't cover my area well at the time (I see more Celadon now though). Didn't like the Indy terminal, but I thought the older mechanics were good (Indianapolis has good mechanics).

It doesn't cost you anything to file a dispute on your DAC with HireRight.
I've done it before when my previous company put a few things on, and after the investigation into the claims, those items were removed.
..and all it cost me was the time it took to file the dispute online through HireRight's website. (and the couple weeks while it was being investigated)

You need to fight the dac report , first go on there web site and make a statement about what happened then there is a place there to dispute any false clams against you follow the instructions ,if celadon doesn't back up there report in 30 days dac will remove it,, but you'll have to be able to prove what your saying!

Yes. They kept the LandSpan terminal in Lakeland, Flroida and two Houg terminals too. One in Colorado and one in California.
