Is it possible for one to leave CR England shortly after obtaining a CDL without causing any damage to his or her DAC record?

If anyone out there has quit right after phase 1 training with CRE, please share your experience and advice.

if you go back to a school put in writing a 30 day notice you will be ok they will not accept the notice but it will be on record. I will tell you if you can't make great money with England you don't have a chance with any body else

If you didn't cause any damage to their equipment or because of a drug test such as refusing to take a drug test then the only thing left is being labeled a JOB Hopper & that is your first job So it should be no big deal even if they put that on your DAC & if anyone of your future employers ask Just tell the truth why you had to leave.... Need a Hint? How about their trainers.....Hem? Big Bad Bill Trainer with six months under his belt buckle driving a tricycle in back yard for six months .Do you wana put your life in his hands?what about their safety records?is it good enough for you? after you have visited their company.Did you look in the yard where they fix all the trailers did you notice how many brand new smashed equipment?I worked for these dipstick do you know how long I Lasted? One round trip..

i left half way through my training. just simply called in sick so my trainer had another student. never called back. but i live 2 miles away. and my trainer had a dedicated run that left monday night and was back friday morning. so we were home every weekend. i called in monday morning.

6 months later i disputed my credit report. there collections was gone.

my dac says eligible for rehire. that was 4 years ago. haven't pulled it up since. and i've never worked for another company that uses dac.

Wth? Really? Lmfao! Got your CDL hard card? Get out! Get as far away from CRE as possible!

Take the truck back to SLC Utah, go thru the gate and let the "gate watcher" log you in..

Do not quit under a load! Send a Qualcomm message indicating where the truck and trailer is, where you left the keys (I left mine in cup holder)..and walk away..

I called a taxi from the terminal, caught the grey dog and never looked back..nothing negative on my DAC..credit report says "purchased and paid as agreed" ..(take a pic of qc msg, truck in yard, and if you can, taxi cab picking you up and delivering you to better places)

Congratulations on waking up from the kool-aid!!

    Good luck

Back when I was a trainer with CRE I had all kinds of students quit right after they finished phase 1. Just make sure you already got your hard copy CDL in the mail and try not to quit while you are dispatched on a load.

Currently in the same boat as the driver who started this thread. Only difference is, I work for an even worse company. (Nashville Based). Kinda sucks because I'm under a high value load at this very moment. And they owe me $483 to be exact. I want to quit so bad. I've been away from my fiance and 1 year old daughter for a month and I haven't even made$2000. (Please hurry with my aapproval for orientation Ms Deana... #MarshfieldBoundHopefully!

I heard to make sure you turn the truck in to one of their terminals or you will have abandonment on your Dac. But I have a question about this, if he received his hard copy and quit he will owe them right? And wouldn't it be hard to find another job with just his cdl and no experience and coming from a company training and not an accredited school

I went to CRE's cdl school in September 2006. I leased from them for 6 weeks ending at Christmas that year and started at Roehl as an experienced driver January 2nd of 2007. I was tired of not getting home at all with CRE and called Roehl. They said welcome aboard! I was in Paris, TX and told CRE that I was bobtailing back to Salt Lake City. They turned off my fuel card and told me to just leave my truck where I was. I said NO, I will be getting the truck back to Salt Lake somehow. They finally turned my fuel card on, (and took the cost of fuel out of my final settlement), and I turned the truck in at their Salt Lake terminal. Then they tried to put a $96,000 hit on my credit report. I sent them a letter threatening to sue them them for "slander of credit". Surprise, they cleared my credit report and my DAC shows a completed lease agreement. I didn't expect that. I did terminate the lease VERY early, but I didn't argue with them about that. It took about 10 months and more than ten letters threatening legal action to get my credit report fixed, but I had the facts on my side and I documented everything. I figure their legal department realized I wasn't worth the hassle to try to screw. Anyway, that what seems like a lifetime ago. Well, it was more than 6 years ago. KingTrucker , good luck with Roehl! They are a MUCH better company than CRE!

I feel that this is a false statement. If you are willing to stick out some tough times and low pay, then yeah maybe so.
