I am sure of that! One more day of class, then a few days off, then the week with the mentor. A lot of paperwork and processes to adapt to, but I will just take my time and let it all fall into place. :)

I took my time too. Got paid today. Not taking my time anymore! If I made what I did by taking it easy, I am full steam ahead now! LOL. Wow. And I LOVE the job too! Never thought I'd have a great paying job that I actually enjoy.

In about 6 weeks, I plan to be at the stage you are now at! I am sure it will get even easier for us as time goes on. :)

Your ADP will keep going up, as you get more efficient with what you do. You won't even think it is happening, as you will "feel" like you are doing things the same. Your ADP will say differently. I used to do similar to this at my X job, but only in the winter.................. and I guarantee you I was not home 2+ days a week. Frankly, I was lucky to be home long enough to wash my clothes, in the winter. In the summer, you would starve.

They'll definitely keep you busy when you're ready. I think they think I'm ready, which I am. Today is my Tuesday. Between yesterday and today I have already have 1,090 miles. Started today at Raymond, NH after breaking there last night. From there I delivered a store load to Lebanon NH, picked up a claims trailer at that store and ran it to Johnstown NY. From there to Marcy NY, from there took a load to North Adams MA...where I dropped it in the door, got my empty and now it's bed time. That's just ONE DAY! Yesterday was similar. If you wanna work, oh buddy, they'll be more than happy to oblige. My last company I would be begging for more work after 10 or 11 hours. There were days where I worked 14 hours and it wasn't even worth coming in. This is just incredible, you can work as hard or as easy as you want, if you want to work its there. I'm loving every minute of it and getting the best sleep I've ever gotten. Nite all.

Its Monday ya'll! Don't keep working hard just to increase that ADP. That can and will get you in to trouble because you will start making mistakes. Also keeping your ETD's up to date will let the ROC know how tight or loose you are running. Also if at the end of your work week you feel they give you a load that is gonna be too tight to run, you can turn it down with no reprocution. Well gonna head in to the yard and get my week started! I'll catch ya'll later.

yep dont chase the money it will come easy and naturally .... you start pushing mistakes will happen. all you have to do here is stay steady... we are being watched even when you dont think so. Dont get complacent or forget where you came from. I have had 4 road observations in the last 6 weeks. all where good no issues but they can come from any safety director or manager.

I hear you guys, I'm not pushing myself, actually doing what just comes natural. I took it easy for the first few weeks to adjust to the paperwork and computer system. I'm on top of it now and I am loving it and rolling as I am used to. I'm not being an idiot on the road or taking any unnecessary chances, I'm just to the point where I no longer need to second guess myself as to did I send the right message, did I do my e.t.a correctly, did I fill out the paperwork correctly. Once I hit that point, it's almost as if they knew it and are throwing everything at me that they can. Which is fine with me. Off to Smyrna DE. Will break there.
