Me and my brother want to team drive and we are from Washington state. We do not have our cdls so we want to find a company who offers cdl training. The reason for this post is that all the company's who offer cdl training are in different states and only offer to people who live in that area. Dose anyone know of any company's based out of Washington or close to it who offer cdl training?
Washington state?

Apply with these online :
Swift
JBS Carriers
Central Refrigerated
Knightmje Thanks this. -
Swift does training at Lewiston Idaho. They either have barracks or a local hotel, not sure which.
-
Only problem with swift is that my brother is only 21 and has one ticket.

CRST and England are both hiring like crazy up here....but read the 'stories' here about them. Each offer 'entry level' and I am sure there are many others as well. If you can 'do the time' required to fulfill their contracts/agreements...it's a way in.
Whichever you choose, good luck to you both!

ps, something else you might check out is 'careerbuilders.com'-----they'll show you who's hiring atm(I am not recommending them, just for info to check out....)Last edited: Aug 31, 2013

Are you from Washington state? I have looked into both the only problem like i said was my brother has one ticket. Crst was my first choice only problem is they never get back to me .

Seattle...and I am a wanna be myself. I will be going to Bates Tech, Winter Qtr. I don't know about the ticket or any of that. Age very well be an issue. I am almost 50 and have drawer full of 'offers'.....which really scared me off and got me reading, and why I am going the route I've chosen. School, the 5 month kind, lol. If your eligible for FAFSA you can get most all of the schooling paid, but then still need to 'train' with whichever company you choose to go with after that.
I am sure you're looking for something faster....there's lots of other companies on that site I mentioned you could try. Keep calling. Once you get some interest from a recruiter, .....well, they'll all probably be calling you at once. -
Lol well thank you. Yeah i have been trying and nothing. We grew up in the trucking business and both have always wanted to do it. My mom recently got her cdl and she told me going with a company for training can be better cause u get paid while training. Yeah of course at first its not much but even at 450 a week that's more then i make now by far so its worth a shot. I will look at the site and see what i can find. Again thank you
