Not sure what the issue is here but if you've had a bad experience at a terminal then you need to contact Driver Relations and discuss your concerns. Every now and then we get a message to rate terminals we've had experiences with.

My experience with recruiters is that they don't necessarily lie to you, they just don't tell you the whole story. You've got to remember that this is a dog eat dog world out here now and they (companies) eat their young.

As far as putting inexperienced drivers on the Dollar General Account, bad idea. All you have to do is look at all the damage done at "every" store to verify that. A lot of experienced drivers have contributed to the damage as well but they are so desperate...

As far as the sign-on bonus; did the other driver get that after training? I received it with my first settlement for staying out with my trainer the whole time without going home. He took home-time twice and I stayed in a motel each time but still got the bonus.

Remember though, if you have an issue or concern, don't hesitate to call Driver Relations. Give them a chance to fix it.

Glenburine, you're a better man than myself. I tried to comprehend what that post meant but it was barely English. I just wonder how people with no communication skills expect to excel at ANYTHING they do.

Welcome to Trucking. I will stretch the truth because it's my job. I don't know if you can drive or not. Show Me. If I asked you If I could borrow your car, would You? Same thing. Prove your worth. My first Werner truck was a wore out KW. Be a trucker, not a winer.

Maybe I missed it, but you never said what Werner found out that you allegedly lied about. Perhaps it's something they are not willing to overlook or not but lying on an app is never good. Now, time for my advice, since this is an advice forum. I'm sure you're upset you are not out out making $$ like you want, but being upset and stressing is never going to put food in your stomach. Fill out as many apps as you can, get hired (truthfully on your apps) and go make $$. When I first started, TMC gave me the raw deal, but with 3 kids to feed, I didn't have time to waste on not being able to drive for TOO MUCH CHROME.....I GOT A JOB AND KEPT IT MOVING....TRUCKING IS A STRESSFUL JOB WITH MANY CHALLENGES. ONLY THE STRONG SURVIVE. P.S. I'LL BET NEXT WEEK'S SALARY, WERNER ISN'T WORRYING ABOUT YOU, AS MUCH AS YOU'RE WORRYING ABOUT THEM.

Sorry guys I didn't write clear when I use my phone.....here's the deal the recuiter told me .31 cpm 40$ unload for each stop and 16.75 for each stop on top with safety pay....turns out its .26 cpm with the safety pay ups to .31 and its only 40$ for the whole trailer and 16.75 each stop......the sign on bonus thing no I didn't did the whole training without going home but when I was done me and five the others were waiting for trucks we all were going on the same account and the same dc but only one dude was giving that.....that don't make sense but that's cool I did get a smooth kw......when I left the terminal I made a dumb mistake an forgot the trailer lol and showed up at the shipper looking real world class dumb lol.....guess dispatch was so mad that they left me stranded for a whole week.....then I finally got a trailer and did a sweep at some stores and came to the dc......on some other things everyone from the people at the terminal and my first trainer was disrespectful even made me go over my 14 clock when I got stuck in a 1000 year long i95 traffic he didn't want to switch or help me find a place to pull over.....werner policy dosent allow us to be pulled over the shoulder for any reason......like I said my luck and experience was terrible but like I said too everybodys different......I just moved to new york city and looking for a new trucking job out here now werner dosent fit what I need from them any way

Me and my husband worked for Swift. Left for personal reasons not related to the company. If you are looking for a decent company ask for a DM in Columbus Ohio don't matter where you live you can have a DM from any terminal they are the best out of all the terminals. We dealt with terminals all over they were rude, dirty, and only catered to their "local drivers" but one thing is with any co. READ THE ENTIRE CONTRACT and let it be known up front how long you want to be out. Our DM ALWAYS got us home sometimes not the exact day but always close and kept us moving. If you stay with Werner have the truck checked!!!! A friend worked for them and ended up in the hospital his bunk was full of mold and he never knew until he got sick.

A completely different stereotype comes to mind when I think of those names. Werner boy ? Not even close.
