Flatbed companies that hire w/ 6 months exp. No prev flatbed exp?

Do your self a Huge Favor Don't try and skip the flatbed training there are many things you need to practice doing even if U have been on the road for a few years and never touched a strap.I have seen grown men on a military base in fact two of them a trainer and his buddy trying to chain a unit on their flatbed and boy oh boy they Looked Like They couldn't figure out how to strap their boots on Let alone chain something and they struggled for hours sweating and shaking Because the military Rep was beginning to wonder if they can drive a way with that load on. So he asked some of the drivers that were done chaining to help these two clueless drivers.If that is not a slap in the face to The company name on their truck doors let a lone the drivers manhood I don't know what is.and I have not started to talk a bout the damage's that an untrained flatbed driver can do to their trailer and the freight also if you end up hauling stuff just because some NumNUT warehouse forklift driver ask you to haul junk that is Just a little bit OD there is no such thing but he will insist THEY DO IT ALL THE TIME & if you haul it and hit a bridge because you were Just a Little Bit too high,wide etc this NumNUT will deny he ever saw you.
Finally I hear that TMC has a good Flatbed training program but i don't know how they treat their drivers.If you can swing by the company BULL if any then take the training and build your six month flatbed know how the right way you will be glad you did.

I say Melton. I love it here. I came over with 1.5 years OTR but zero flatbed experience. Haven't had a single problem in the 2 months I've been with Melton. And, Melton is in the top 1% for drivers pay in the ENTIRE INDUSTRY!
