They didn't waste anytime getting you the discount card. It arrived right at 90 days! Cool!

 

That is what happens when exposed to large amounts of fresh donuts for several days! LOL!

It is a good thing they do not have Dunkin Donuts on every corner down here....or you can imagine what would happen. Hmmmm, can I squeeze my truck and 53' trailer into their drive thru lane! LOL!

You are looking good there Jim! Really happy to see how well you are doing. All the time we spent waiting prior to starting orientation seems like a distant memory now.

Tom, you're right about the distant memory thing. It's a great feeling waking up every day already working for Walmart. I find myself still in disbelief at times, cruising down the road, thinking back on how I started this ball rolling, thinking back on how 6 years ago I wanted to do this and set this as my goal. To have achieved this goal still blows my mind.

 

Your Employee Contact is your 6-month chat. They let you know how you are doing, try to find out if you are having any problems or if there is anything you think needs changed. They will also show you what raises you will get at 1 yr, 2 yr, etc. It is very informal and nothing to worry about.

Of to sleep I go. I can smell the ocean at this store in San Diego. Back to Buckeye tomorrow for my Friday.

Maybe we all need to get Tom Krispe Kreme donut gift cards for his Bday/Xmas, etc. Then the next time we can get him a gym membership.

Mine did the same thing a few weeks ago. Took the shop 3 hours to find the fuse in the sleeper control panel blew. Once found, was a two minute fix. Luckily I was on site when it went down, it was warm out and I keep the temp set at 60° F.
