I think the humor in this thread is very much a part of old school trucking.
I was taught by veterans, 30, 40, and 50 year veterans of the industry. And there is one thing they and I have in common:
We love to joke around, like in this thread. Nobody like's doing tires, but, it's a helluva' lot more enjoyable when someone cracks a good joke.
And I agree with Wanderingaimlessly, the change in the social interactions seen in trucking aren't simply limited to trucking, it's all sorts of industries, it's in our society in general now.
