Why does everyone laugh at this when every truck driver has been in the position where theres no crapper around and whats worst is all the Pee bottles that litter the highway and the walmart bags of crap being thrown out and you all think this is funny. Now you know why the trucking industry is getting so bad.

Some times when I go on ranting about drivers or companies that you described in your post I can't help but feel guilty about what I wrote.Then I begin to think of what would someone finds wrong with my character.But I know what you mean. Some times you got to do what you need done to get to where you need to be.

That's like when an unknown music group has one hit they call it an "one hit wonder".

 

Excuse me but not bathing every day or for a few days is one thing but when you don't bath for months or 2 months on end , and have sharp odors emnanating to boot also fungus and bacteria growing on your person. That is a whole other issue in it self guess i stick my finger out too when i sip my coffee really !!!!!

 

Well they recruit potential driver from homeless shelters, get them there birth certificates and dl license then bring them to orientation, its a fact they actually go to shelters and talk to councilor's to see if there are any people that can pass the background qualifications , so that explains why your in orientation with the bottom of the barrel!!!

 

Wow i see this thread is a load of CRAP I worked for Werner for 6 years and when you come thru the safety lane or the shop and you smelled or your truck looked like crap they would fire you and the CRAP about going to homeless shelters I have heard it all this truely is a thread about CRAP.

 

O.K. Don't know if this is all true or not but i really don't care that was the funniest post i have read in a very long time. Thanks for nearly bringing me to tears and for the best laugh that i have had in quite some time.

 

This IS the Internet.Everything is NOT true.HOWEVER..If someone here is researching a company and is relatively a newbie to the Trucking Industry-I strongly suggest you use the search feature here and P.M. people on both sides of the "fence".

I have noticed there are a few articulate "writers" on here sticking up for companies I would NEVER even CONSIDER working for-of course this is my choice. However I'm not so sure these "bloggers" if you will are not getting some sort of reward for NOT being enthusiastic about their questionable company..It's more like OBSESSED. Perhaps better paying loads if an Owner-OP or L/P? Maybe better runs and loads if a Company Driver? Maybe a cut for a recruiting bonus?

Trust no one..Gawd gave you a brain and TTR to do research and find a Trucking job which will suit your needs,but do not go on the writing skills of a single man/woman..It's too thin. Fact is..If there are many complaints about a certain company there may be something to it-and as these companies in question read this here-of course they will send "soldiers" if you will to end the uprising.As I said a few sentences ago..P.M. people on both sides of the issue;if possible talk to Truckers at a T.S.and yes...Visit other Trucking Forums..

Granted..I have talked to J.B.Hunt drivers and Swift drivers who are happy with there lot in life-Good for them- I could not work there.And yet at the same time if your new...Do NOT believe the B.S. you will read at a T.S. flyer about them..They put military recruiters to shame...

At the end of the day;if your here on TTR researching companies use ALL the tools available to you and NOT just the articulate words of a couple and above ALL else...Use your own brain!!

Bumpy, I'm just trying to line up my ducks in a row so to speak. My main goal is to get my CDL and get to the oil fields of TX and if that doesn't work then i will go with a company that my gut tells me to but thanks for the heads up. And that post is funny as H***
