After my expenses I'm getting about $1500-1700 on average.Pound Puppy Thanks this.

According to my recruiter there are currently no sign-on bonuses!! BOO!!
-
That sucks. But like I said hit or miss. They sometimes need drivers in a specific area they will have a sign on bonus to entice drivers.

Will Comtrak let you take an empty trailer home for time off ?
Do you get fuel discounts ?
How much is their fsc ?
Do they pay practical route or shortest route miles ?
Do they have qcomm and/or elogs.?
Do they offer a choice of loads?
Thanks -
Yes take trlr home
Kind of close to practial but not quite under 10% off usually less
Elogs on qcom
Sometimes choice but if you don't want an area tell them they work with you. No nyc as we don't go to ny or above per the hut crap and no cali for the carb crapLone Ranger 13 Thanks this. -
Fsc is % 100 based in national average loaded and mty
Lone Ranger 13 Thanks this. -
Where do you run ? I am interested in vans. I live in western NC ( Asheville). What is fsc right now .
Thanks for the information. Could I get home every weekend ? -
I'm not sure about every weekend but I think you can. Fsc changes each week you can go on the department of energy's website to see national average and there is a list from department of energy which we use. For example if the national average is $3.900 to $3.959 then the fs is $0.360 a mile loaded or mty. It changes week to week.Lone Ranger 13 Thanks this.

Loaded up in Weslaco, TX. today headed for Lake Park, GA. Then I will bobtail to Midland, GA to grab an empty dryvan and take it home. Dispatcher called today and already has me lined up with my load back out of the house next week!! Will be heading down to Target Dist in Midway, Ga and then running back out to Hattiesburg, MS... I'm just blown away at how far ahead dispatch and load planners try to stay ahead of you... I'm certainly not use to this!! The previous company wouldn't start looking for your load until you sent "Ready for Dispatch" on the Qualcomm and most times it was more common to not get a load until the following day!!
