The true solution if there's is one is getting enough sleep before driving at night. And even then theres no guarantee. I've been a night driver the past 8 years. I've mostly done 500 mile turns at night. Bottom line is if you're too tired you shouldn't be driving. Eating might help just a little but the best thing to do is pull over and shut your eyes for 20 min.

Not to worry about, finishing my last 2 months for my 1 year anniversary then going LTL.

Sleep makes no difference to me. I can hold out the same on 4 hours as I can on 14h ...

From my understanding, many scales are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year.

God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!

Eh depends. Port of entries usually regular chicken coops they're usually closed at night. Just depends. I've had weeks running days where most were locked up. And I've had nights when I weighed at every chicken house. And visa versa just depends. Driving at night has many benefits and many dangers.

It takes more responsibility as far as I'm concerned. You have to know when to push and when to shut it down. I know I've been driving to long when I start thinking I'm seeing things. We've all had it happen. I'm not talking about black dogs, purple floating elephants, the headless horseman, or phantoms just popping out of nowhere.

I'm talking about seeing something out of the corner of your eye in the ditch, mistaking a marker in the ditch for a set of animal eyes and hitting the brakes, or taking the cruise off, things like that. When I start making those kind of mistakes I pull it over and shut it down asap. Its not worth getting somebody else or myself killed.

Yes to the b vitamins. I take the super b complex nightly before I drive and drink bottled water. Talk about a kick in the pants. Water is better when driving than a soda because you don't take in all the sugar and caffeine leading to the crash a few hours later.
