Headed home. Taking tomorrow off, then delivering my final 2 stops on Friday and reloading back to the house for the rest of the weekend.

BTW, I've officially changed the name of 65 between Louisville and Chicago to "Russian Highway -Floppy Bumper Expressway"

    How was vacation Bob?

I loaded rebar baskets in the twin cities and dropped them in Grand Forks. Headed to Winsted, MN to grab some ladders for one of our direct shippers. Made a pitstop in Rothsay for a bite to eat. Excellent food here.

You can run Iowa up to 14-4 legally.

    SHC Thanks this.

I always thought the cutoff was 14 3. My mistake I suppose but there still wasn't enuf in that rate for minimum 7 axles.

Well after a long day Tues. We finally left Gillette this morning ,well mid morning.
I thought I had put a high enough rate on that ld for tarping they would say no. Even when I get there and see the door signs and big sign on the trk. were off. Great I say no tarp and I'll refund the tarp money.
Nope still need it tarped. People might see our colors..
4 hours chaining and removing broken parts, plus the padding and tarping.. Then finished up this morning.
My wife says no more tarp jobs this year, no matter how much money. No I did not make her climb up on the trk.
    #### near fell off it coming down..
Next time I'm doubling my tarp rate.
Plus they paid me for 3 hours of wait time for the crane. Gave them 4 hours free and they paid for 3 hours. I told them I'm not billing sit time while I chain and tarp.
    That rate was allready set

    SHC Thanks this.
